It’s time to bundle up and take that walk in the woods. Crunchy leaves underfoot, a golden canopy overhead – paths like this one at Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge in Minnesota can be found throughout much of the country right now. Surrounded by loved ones or escaping for a few solitary moments, America’s public lands provide incredible places to walk off the holiday stress and delicious meals. As everyone is sharing their opinions on the new “positive Tumblr” I might as well join the party late. The guidelines are ridiculous, overly prude and destructive to the photography/art communities of Tumblr. It’s sad to see so many people say their goodbyes. I will be staying here as I haven’t enjoyed other photography communities as much as Tumblr. For me, it’s an easy choice as I haven’t found any flagged posts on my blog (to be fair, I’m not sure where you can find those) and my subjects don’t tend to have nipples.
